Scientists track classroom air to see how it harms kids with allergies

NCT ID NCT07402200

Summary

This study aims to understand how the mix of different air pollutants in classrooms affects the health of children, especially those with allergies like asthma or eczema. Researchers will place advanced sensors in schools to monitor air and dust quality in real-time, while also checking the lung function and allergy symptoms of 100 children. The goal is to gather detailed information to see if poor air quality makes allergy symptoms worse, which could help inform future school health guidelines.
