Clean air fight: can simple filters protect kids from hidden lead?

NCT ID NCT07485608

Summary

This study is testing if portable air filters can reduce lead dust in older homes and lower children's blood lead levels. It will enroll 40 families in Michigan with young children who have elevated lead levels and live in homes built before 1978. Researchers will measure lead in dust and children's blood before and after a two-month period of using the air filters.
