Breathing low oxygen and leg zaps tested to boost MS strength

NCT ID NCT06413602

Summary

This study is testing if a combination of two treatments can improve muscle strength and nerve signals in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). The treatments are breathing brief, low levels of oxygen and using mild electrical stimulation on the leg. Researchers will measure ankle strength and brain-to-muscle signals in 40 participants to see if the combination works better than either treatment alone.
