Your smartwatch could spot a dangerous heart rhythm before you do
NCT ID NCT07291570
Summary
This study aims to see if a consumer smartwatch, combined with artificial intelligence (AI), can accurately predict and detect atrial fibrillation (AF), a common irregular heartbeat. It will recruit 40 adults with a history of AF to wear a smartwatch and compare its readings against standard medical monitors. The goal is to develop a non-invasive, continuous monitoring tool that could help with earlier diagnosis.
