Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) program, using data from a consumer smartwatch, can accurately predict and detect episodes of atrial fibrillation (AF), a common irregular heartbeat. It will recruit 40 adults who have a history of AF but are currently in normal rhythm. The goal is to see if this non-invasive, wearable technology can perform as well as or better than current, more cumbersome medical monitoring methods.
