AI eye in the gut: new software aims to speed up bleeding detection

NCT ID NCT07633847

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests an AI tool called NaviCam ProScan that helps doctors review videos from a swallowed camera (capsule endoscopy) used to find small bowel bleeding. About 92 adults will take part to see if the AI-assisted review is faster and more accurate than the usual manual review. The goal is to improve detection of bleeding spots without missing any.
