AI vs. simple fix: which better stops dangerous blood pressure drops in surgery?
NCT ID NCT06631482
Summary
This study compares two ways to prevent low blood pressure during surgery, a common problem linked to poor recovery. One method uses a new AI tool that predicts low blood pressure before it happens. The other simply raises the alarm threshold on the standard monitor. Researchers will see which method works better for 100 patients having longer surgeries.
