AI steps into the Doctor's office: can a computer help spot breast cancer?

NCT ID NCT06032390

Summary

This large study is testing whether using artificial intelligence (AI) to help radiologists read mammograms is as good at finding breast cancer as the current standard method, which uses two radiologists. It aims to see if AI can save time for doctors while keeping screening just as accurate. About 150,000 women in Norway's national screening program are participating.
