First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study will test whether artificial intelligence (AI) can accurately tell the difference between inflammatory arthritis (like rheumatoid arthritis) and degenerative arthritis (like osteoarthritis) in people aged 60 and older. Researchers will compare the AI's analysis of X-rays, MRIs, or ultrasounds to the opinions of expert rheumatologists. The goal is to see if AI can be a reliable tool to help doctors diagnose joint diseases more quickly and accurately.
