Can a computer read your veins better than a doctor?
NCT ID NCT07419048
Summary
This study aims to see if artificial intelligence (AI) can measure a person's hydration status as well as or better than human doctors using a simple ultrasound scan. Researchers will compare AI-guided measurements of a major vein in the abdomen to those made by both experienced and beginner doctors in 50 healthy volunteers. The goal is to understand if AI could one day help make these assessments faster or more reliable in clinical settings.
