Can AI outsmart doctors? trial pits computers against pathologists
NCT ID NCT07408167
Summary
This study aims to see if artificial intelligence (AI) tools can help pathologists diagnose diseases more accurately and quickly. It will involve 60 pathologists reviewing digital images from 2,000 patients, comparing their usual methods to working with an AI assistant. The goal is to gather evidence on whether AI improves diagnostic confidence and efficiency, especially for less experienced doctors.
