AI vs. human eye: can a computer help doctors see better?

NCT ID NCT07291960

Summary

This study is testing whether giving eye doctors AI-generated measurements from retinal scans helps them write better clinical reports. Participating doctors will be split into two groups: one gets the AI data, and the other works with just the scan images. A separate panel of senior doctors will then judge the quality of all the reports to see if the AI information made a difference.
