Can a computer hear a heart murmur better than a doctor?

NCT ID NCT06791109

Summary

This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help primary care doctors detect congenital heart disease in children more accurately during routine check-ups. It will compare the results when doctors listen to heart sounds alone versus when they use an AI tool to analyze the sounds. The goal is to see if this technology can help catch more heart problems early, especially in areas with fewer specialist doctors.
