AI steps into cancer care: can it match a Doctor's precision?

NCT ID NCT06546592

Summary

This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) software can help doctors plan radiation therapy for breast cancer as well as they can by hand, and if it saves them time. It will involve 444 patients who are scheduled for radiation treatment. The main goal is to see if the AI-assisted planning is just as good as the traditional manual method.
