AI steps into the Dentist's chair: can software make crowns fit better?
NCT ID NCT07295964
Summary
This study aims to see if using artificial intelligence (AI) software can help create 3D-printed dental crowns that fit a patient's bite more accurately from the start. Researchers will enroll 30 adults who need a crown and compare how much manual adjustment is needed for crowns designed with AI assistance versus traditional methods. The goal is to learn if this digital technology can save time and improve the process of making custom dental restorations.
