AI showdown: which bot best predicts your eye surgery results?
NCT ID NCT07183891
Summary
This study tests three artificial intelligence systems (ChatGPT 4o, GPT-5, and DeepSeek) to see how well they can interpret eye measurement reports and predict outcomes for cataract surgery. Researchers are using past patient data from 54 people to compare the AI's accuracy in recommending lens implants and predicting vision correction. No treatments are being given—this is purely a test of how well these AI tools can analyze medical information.
