Robot-Assisted blood draws: will AI beat the needle?

NCT ID NCT07383870

First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study compares a new AI-ultrasound device (AIIV L2) to standard manual blood draws. About 190 adults will get a blood draw on each arm—one with the device, one without—to see which is more successful on the first try, causes less pain, and takes less time. The goal is to find out if the device is safe and works as well or better than the traditional method.
