AI eyes help doctors spot hidden breast markers

NCT ID NCT07427407

Summary

This study aims to collect ultrasound images to help develop artificial intelligence (AI) software that can automatically find breast biopsy markers. The software is designed to assist doctors during routine ultrasound exams by highlighting where markers are located. The study involves 100 women who have already had a breast biopsy marker placed and are scheduled for surgery. Participation doesn't change standard medical care - it simply records ultrasound images for AI training.
