Robot assistant aims to take the pain out of needle sticks
NCT ID NCT07383870
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device that uses artificial intelligence and ultrasound to help guide a needle into a vein for a blood draw. Researchers want to see if using this device is as good as or better than the standard manual method. Each participant will have a blood draw on one arm using the device and on the other arm using the standard method to compare success, pain, and time.
