AI could Fine-Tune your hearing implant for clearer speech
NCT ID NCT05219474
Summary
This study tested whether a computer model could find better settings for cochlear implants than the standard method. Researchers worked with 14 adults who had hearing loss and used cochlear implants. They used the model to suggest which specific electrodes to turn on or off, aiming to improve how well users could understand speech.
