AI reads prostate scans to predict survival

NCT ID NCT06363435

First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can automatically measure the amount of prostate cancer seen on special PET-CT scans. Researchers want to see if these AI measurements can predict how long patients will live or when the cancer might come back. The study will include 1500 men with prostate cancer who are already getting a PSMA PET-CT scan as part of their regular care.
