Summary

This study tested whether an AI system could safely and effectively take a patient's medical history before an urgent care visit. About 100 adults spoke with the AI, supervised by a doctor, before seeing their primary care provider. Researchers measured safety, patient and doctor satisfaction, and the quality of the AI's clinical conversations.
