Summary
This study tested whether a conversational AI system can safely and effectively take a patient's medical history before an urgent care visit. About 100 adults spoke with the AI, supervised by a doctor, and researchers measured safety, patient satisfaction, and the quality of the conversation. The goal was to see if AI could help streamline care, not to treat or cure any disease.
