Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help manage the long waitlists for specialist doctor appointments in Brazil. It will compare the AI's decisions against the standard human process for nearly 1,000 patient referrals. The goal is to see if the AI can make faster, more appropriate decisions about who needs to see a specialist, potentially reducing wait times for urgent cases.
