AI steps in to train doctors on spotting risky stomach changes
NCT ID NCT07208864
Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can effectively train doctors to better assess a pre-cancerous stomach condition called gastric intestinal metaplasia. Eight endoscopists will use the AI tool to score videos of stomach exams, then later score videos without it, to see if the training improves their accuracy. The goal is to see if this AI-assisted training helps doctors more reliably identify this condition, which requires careful monitoring.
