AI scans tissue slides to predict which liver cancer treatments will work

NCT ID NCT07417800

Summary

This study is developing an artificial intelligence (AI) tool to help doctors choose the best treatment for patients after liver cancer surgery. The AI analyzes standard digital images of a patient's tumor tissue to predict whether they are likely to benefit from specific follow-up therapies, like chemoembolization or targeted drugs. The goal is to personalize treatment, avoid unnecessary side effects, and improve survival by matching the right patient with the right therapy.
