AI steps in to solve the 'Gray Area' of lung nodules
NCT ID NCT06638398
Summary
This study is testing a new AI-based software tool called the Virtual Nodule Clinic. It aims to help doctors better determine if a suspicious spot on a lung scan is cancerous or not. The goal is to reduce unnecessary invasive procedures for benign nodules and speed up treatment for cancer by providing a clearer risk score. About 400 adults with these uncertain lung nodules are participating.
