AI steps in to help families navigate dementia diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07347431
Summary
This study is testing a new AI tool called LUMEN that helps family members and caregivers describe their loved one's memory and thinking changes more clearly. About 60 caregivers and doctors will use the tool in memory clinics to see if it makes sharing information easier and more helpful for diagnosis. The goal is to see if this technology can improve the early detection of dementia by creating better-organized reports for doctors.
