AI assistant aims to reduce unnecessary colon polyp biopsies
NCT ID NCT07389759
Summary
This study tests whether a computer-aided diagnosis (CADx) system helps doctors accurately identify tiny colon polyps during a colonoscopy. Doctors will use the AI tool to decide if a small polyp needs to be removed or can be safely left alone. The goal is to see if this technology can reduce unnecessary procedures and help guide follow-up care.
