AI reads Kids' fears at the dentist
NCT ID NCT07387055
Summary
This study tested a new picture-based tool, assisted by artificial intelligence (AI), designed to measure dental anxiety in young children. Researchers wanted to see if this AI tool was a reliable way to assess fear and if a child's anxiety changed after meeting the dentist for the first time. The study involved 171 children, aged 3 to 6, during their first-ever dental check-up.
