Smart computer predicts surgery infections before they happen
NCT ID NCT07378683
Summary
This study is testing a new computer tool that predicts which patients are at high risk for a wound infection after brain or spine tumor surgery. About 500 patients will have their risk calculated after surgery. Those flagged as high-risk will get extra preventive care to see if it lowers infection rates compared to standard care.
