NCT ID NCT06473558

First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026

Summary

This study explores whether artificial intelligence (AI) can identify signs of depression and anxiety in emergency department patients by analyzing their facial expressions and tone of voice. Researchers will record 30 adult volunteers answering simple questions, then use a computer to look for patterns linked to mood. The goal is to help doctors and nurses better recognize mental health issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.
