Summary

This study compares an AI-powered therapy app called Nook to standard cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for people aged 16-64 with moderate depression or anxiety. 400 participants in the UK will be randomly assigned to use the app or see a therapist. The goal is to see if the app works just as well as talking therapy in reducing symptoms.
