AI tries to translate Doctor-Speak for eye patients

Summary
This study is testing whether summaries written by artificial intelligence (AI) can help patients understand their eye doctor's notes. About 460 adults receiving eye care will either get their standard medical notes or notes with an added AI summary written in plain language. Researchers will then ask participants questions to see if the AI summaries improve their understanding of their diagnosis and treatment plan.
