Summary
This study is testing whether a digital stethoscope that also records a simple heart tracing can use artificial intelligence (AI) to detect pulmonary hypertension, a serious condition of high blood pressure in the lungs. The goal is to create a faster, easier screening tool that primary care doctors could use to identify patients who need more advanced testing. Researchers will collect heart sound and electrical data from over 2,400 adults who are already scheduled for standard heart or lung pressure tests to train and validate the AI algorithm.
