AI app and sonic tool aim to soothe Kids' dental pain
NCT ID NCT07138937
Summary
This study tested if using a sonic tool during a common children's dental procedure (a root canal on a baby tooth) could reduce pain afterward. It also compared a standard pain scale with a new AI phone app designed to read children's facial expressions to measure their discomfort. The goal was to find better ways to manage and assess pain in young patients.
