Patients share mammograms online to fight fear and train AI
NCT ID NCT06604078
Summary
This study tested a new online social platform called MammoChat. It aimed to see if letting patients anonymously share their breast screening images and experiences with others could help reduce the stress and anxiety that often comes with these tests. The researchers also used the shared images to build a database for training artificial intelligence (AI) tools to potentially improve future breast cancer detection.
