First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study aims to develop and test an AI system that uses smartphone photos with a color card to measure redness in psoriasis lesions. Researchers will compare the AI's measurements to those from a standard colorimeter. The study involves 50 adults with psoriasis who will take weekly photos at home. The goal is to see if this low-cost method can reliably assess disease severity.
