Wearable tech & AI aim to predict dangerous lung Flare-Ups

NCT ID NCT07289100

Summary

This study is testing if small wearable sensors can detect early signs of a serious chest infection in adults with cystic fibrosis or bronchiectasis. Participants will wear the sensors while receiving a standard two-week course of antibiotics for an infection. The goal is to see if changes in body signals like heart rate can help spot these dangerous flare-ups earlier than current methods.
