AI camera watches for seizures while patients sleep
NCT ID NCT06705439
Summary
This study tested whether an AI software called Nelli could automatically detect nighttime seizures using video and audio recordings. Researchers compared the AI's seizure detection to the current gold standard method (video EEG monitoring) in 33 adults suspected of having seizures. The goal was to see if the AI could accurately identify seizures with visible body movements.
