AI vs. pancreatic cancer: new screening program aims to catch deadly disease earlier
NCT ID NCT07324096
Summary
This study is testing whether a new screening program using artificial intelligence (AI) can help detect pancreatic cancer earlier in people at high risk. Researchers will enroll 100 adults aged 50-85 who have recently developed diabetes and have a high risk score for pancreatic cancer. Participants will receive three rounds of AI-enhanced CT scans and blood draws over time to see if this approach is practical and can spot cancer sooner than current methods.
