First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a simple mobile ECG device, combined with artificial intelligence, can help find early signs of dilated cardiomyopathy in close relatives of people who have the condition. About 119 adults took part, including patients with the disease and their first-degree relatives. The goal was to see how many relatives completed the screening and whether the AI could detect reduced heart function.
