Summary
This study compares a new AI-enabled robotic stapler to a conventional stapler in 200 adults undergoing robotic or laparoscopic surgery for non-metastatic colorectal cancer. The goal is to see if the AI tool helps lower the risk of serious complications like anastomotic leaks. Participants are aged 18 to 90 and must be having planned surgery for non-recurrent colorectal cancer.
