Summary
This study tested whether a simpler, less invasive dental procedure called a full pulpotomy could work as well as a traditional root canal for treating severe tooth pain and inflammation. It involved 58 adults with painful, inflamed back teeth. Researchers also tested how accurately a new artificial intelligence (AI) software could spot signs of bone infection around the tooth's root on X-rays.
