AI tool may forecast pancreatic cancer survival

NCT ID NCT06760234

Summary

This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) model could predict how pancreatic cancer patients will fare after surgery and chemotherapy. Researchers trained the AI using pre-surgery CT scans and post-surgery tissue samples from 247 patients. The goal is to create a tool that helps doctors forecast patient prognosis and response to treatment more accurately.
