Summary
This study is testing whether a computer program can help doctors identify children in the hospital with serious heart conditions who are at high risk of a major health event. The program predicts which patients might benefit from earlier conversations with a special support team about their care goals and comfort. Researchers will compare how often and how quickly these supportive care conversations happen before and after the computer program is used.
