AI scans your body to warn surgeons of hidden risks

NCT ID NCT07401173

Summary

This study is testing a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool called DeepComp. The tool analyzes a patient's routine CT scan before stomach cancer surgery to predict their risk of serious complications after the operation. Researchers will enroll 500 patients across five hospitals to see if the AI's predictions match what actually happens after surgery. The goal is to give doctors a better way to assess surgical risks and plan personalized care.
