AI eye scan could predict your injection future

NCT ID NCT07402629

Summary

This study aims to use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze special eye scans (OCTA) from 110 patients. The goal is to find patterns that can predict how well standard eye injections work over two years for a condition called myopic choroidal neovascularization (mCNV), which can threaten vision. Researchers hope this will help doctors personalize treatment plans by better forecasting who might need more injections or who is at risk for the condition coming back.
