AI maps the Gut's workout: can Exercise's secret be in your bacteria?
NCT ID NCT06931210
Summary
This study aimed to understand how exercise changes gut bacteria in people with type 2 diabetes and if an AI model could predict these changes. For 16 weeks, one group of participants did combined aerobic and resistance exercise while a control group remained sedentary. Researchers measured gut bacteria, body composition, and blood sugar control to see if changes in bacteria were linked to health improvements from exercise.
