AI scans your past to predict your cancer future

NCT ID NCT07399236

Summary

This study aims to create an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that can predict which colorectal cancer patients are at high risk of the cancer spreading to their liver after curative surgery. Researchers will develop the tool by analyzing existing medical records, CT scans, and tissue samples from 1,500 past patients. The goal is to provide doctors with a better way to identify high-risk patients who may need closer monitoring or different treatment plans after their initial surgery.
